Author:Safety Officer Chris Kennedy
Sat, Jan 9th, 2010 6:25:00 pm - At 6:25 pm, the LCWC alerted the Gap Fire Company to assist Station 4-9 (White Horse FCo) with a house fire at 268 Cambridge Rd in Salisbury Township.  The first arriving units reported smoke showing from the residence and an injured person in front of the building. Truck 4-2 arrived was instructed to set up the aerial ladder and prepare for ventilation.  Engine 4-2-2 followed shortly behind, and it's crew assisted the truck crew with ventilation and raising ground ladders.  Rescue 4-2 was instructed to set up for RIT.  During the primary search, a deceased male was located in the residence.  The injured female was air lifted to Chester Crozer Medical Center where she later succumbed to her injuries. Units were on location about 2 hours.
