Training At The Firehouse
Mon, Nov 10th, 2014 5:00:00 pm - At 7:00pm, the firefighting crew took the opportunity to brush up on their SCBA (self contained breathing apparatus) skills.  After reviewing the parts of the air pack and their functions, it was time don the packs.  We train to be able to don the air packs and be breathing air within 60 seconds.  Although some were a bit rusty, through repetition and practice we were able to meet the guidelines. ...More Info and Pictures

Thu, Nov 6th, 2014 6:35:00 am - At 6:35am, Rescue 42 was dispatched to assist Chester county Station 8 (Keystone Valley Fire Department) on a vehicle accident on Rt 30 at Rt 10 in West Sadsbury Township. Upon the arrival of rescue 42, it was determined that the Rescue was not needed at the scene. Structure Fire In Salisbury Township
Sun, Nov 2nd, 2014 3:22:00 pm - At 3:22pm, the Gap Fire Company was dispatched to assist Station 49 (White Horse) on a structure fire at 5070 Old Philadelphia Pike. First arriving officers reporting flames showing from the structure. Truck 42 arrived assisting with ventilation as the balance of the crews from the Engine and Rescue were to stand by at the staging area.
